How do you feel about the currently state of the sneaker game?
I guess it’s OK, it seems like all the brands are scrambling to take advantage of all the “hype” around sneakers.
What are your favorite pair of New Balance of all time?
Navy 576 (original version).
Perfect silhouette/Great color balance.
How many pairs of New Balance would you say you currently own?
Wow, probably 150-200.
What do you feel is the most important part of a New Balance shoe?
I think I would have to say, the toe box & side profile.
For me, that’s what make a shoe look right on your foot.
What makes New Balance memorable?
Style, color, story.
How do you feel about the amount of releases New Balance is dropping now a days?
I believe brands are taking advantage of the “sneaker hype” moment. The good part is, New Balance is putting out some serious HEAT.
What do you see New Balance doing differently than other brands?
I think the MOST different thing New Balance does, is make shoes in different parts of the world. England, USA, Asia.
Can we expect any new collaborations with New Balance and yourself?
You never know! Ha!
Do you feel that New Balance Europe, Asia or US is doing it fresher?
Easy.. Made In England, RULES.
Can you tell us more about your new video show Quickstrike with Russ Bengtson?
It’s basically 2 guys who like shoes, sharing information, arguing viewpoints & having fun.
