How do you feel about the currently state of the sneaker game in Germany?
The Sneaker Game in Europe is growing each Year. People over here are crazy for Runner. Right now a lot of Sneakers Stores are popping out and the offer of good Sneakers is getting better and better each year.
What do you feel is the most important part of a New Balance shoe? Why?
For me the most important Part of a New Balance Shoe, is the cushioning system. In the early 90’s the Abzorb cushioning was already one of the leading cushioning systems. And today the new Fresh Foam cushioning is one of the best out there.
What makes New Balance memorable? Why?
I think New Balance is one of the most classic Brands out there. The stand for Quality & Heritage, more than any other Sneaker Brand out there.
Do you see a trend in New Balance bought in your region?
People over here are asking more and more for the “Made in US” styles. Especially the 998 is right now really popular.
How do you feel about the amount of New Balance being released in the last year or so?
I think right now every brand is realizing they drop way to much shoes. Especially New Balance did way to much releases last year. But I think they learned a lesson and will concentrate next year on more of a few great releases.
What is the best selling New Balance at your store?
Right now the best selling New Balance shoe, is the 998 “Made in USA.”
What do you see New Balance doing differently than other brands?
I think they focus more on quality, they are the only big sneaker brand that I know, that still is produced in USA and UK. Right now as every brand is releasing shoes like crazy, people will start looking for special and high quality products ever than before.
Can we expect any new collaborations with New Balance and your store?
We have now collaboration with New Balance in the pipeline, but who knows maybe next Year 🙂
Any last thoughts or comments on New Balance you want to leave us with.
New Balance if you hear me, please make a shoe “Made in Germany” , I would be the first in line. 🙂
